Westlake would get on the board first as Sophomore Quarterback Reese Wise calls his own number and powers his way in from 9 yards out to give the Chaparalls a 7-0 lead.
North Shore would respond immediately, eating up half of the 2nd quarter with an impressive 75 yard drive capped with their version of the tush push - Caleb Bailey getting in from a yard out to tie the game at 7.
On the next possession the Mustangs get some momentum through the air on as Bailey hits Deion Deblanc in the flat and he's all the way down to the 10 yard line. That would setup this touchdown run by D'Andre Hardeman as he goes untouched from 9 yards out to give the Mustangs their first lead of the game at 14-7.
They would add a short field goal midway through the 3rd quarter and go hold on for the win to punch their ticket to the 6A Division 1 Championship next Saturday in Arlington!
