Lake Travis Dominates Summer Creek 13-0 in State Semifinals

June 3, 2026
Summer Creek reached the state baseball semifinals for the first time in program history but fell to Lake Travis 13-0 after the Cavaliers scored 8 in the first inning.

For the first time in program history, Summer Creek reached the UIL baseball state semifinals — a milestone achievement for the Bulldogs. Waiting for them was Lake Travis, and the Cavaliers wasted no time making their experience felt.

Lake Travis sent 10 batters to the plate in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back. Elliott Proppe got things rolling with an RBI single through a drawn-in infield, scoring CJ Hansford to push the lead to 4-0. A curveball in the dirt got away from the Summer Creek catcher moments later, and Proppe alertly raced home from third to make it 5-0. James Tudor then added a sacrifice fly to cap an 8-run first inning that effectively ended the game before Summer Creek could find its footing.

The Cavaliers went on to win 13-0 and closed out the series, advancing deeper into the state tournament. For Summer Creek, the historic run to the final four remains a landmark moment for the program, even as the margin of defeat underscored the gap between the two teams on that day.
