Mabrey Mettauer was back behind center for the Woodlands after missing a game and a half with a head injury.
It was Klein Collins Quarterback, Tucker Parks, who would strike first. 3rd quarter, Tied at 13, Parks wants to pass but can't find anyone so he runs it from the 6, takes a hit, but scores. 20-13 Tigers.
Mettauer would answer back in the 4th with a run of his own. He goes untouched from 13 yards out to tie it at 20.
Parks would then hit Rodney Ojo for a 65 yard touchdown midway through the 4th and Collins is right back on top, 27-20 as we go back and forth.
With 1:25 to play, Quanell X Farrakhan takes the direct snap and with some help from his friends, gets pushed into the end zone from 10 yards out.
The Highlanders decide to go for 2 and it's Farrakhan again....he made that look easy. The risk pays off as the Woodlands led by 1.
Last chance for the Tigers with 4 seconds left, but Benjamin Pena's field goal is blocked by Tyler Honeyman and The Woodlands win it 28-27. They will face defending state champs, Duncanville, next week
