Katy vs Cy-Fair - 2023 Week 13 Football Highlights

Big matchup between 2 one loss teams as Cy-Fair took on the Katy Tigers.

First quarter, Bobcats strike first. Beautiful 51 yard dart from Trey Owens to Connor Porter and Cy-Fair would take a 7-6 lead into halftime.

3rd quarter, Katy down 14-6, but Gunner Nelson goes 8 yards to his big tight end, Luke Carter and after the 2 point conversion, it's 14 all after 3 quarters.

In the 4th, the Tigers take the lead. That's Chase Johnsey running it in from the 9. Katy up 21-14 with 7 minutes left.

But Cy-Fairs drives the ball down the field and with less then a minute to play, Owens connects with Owen Carter on the 3 yard touchdown pass play. We are going to overtime tied at 21.

Bobcats get the ball first and Jamel Nickerson runs it into the end zone from the 3. 28-21 Cy-Fair and the pressure is on Katy

Tigers find themselves in a 4th and 15...last chance....and Nelson's pass falls short. What a huge win for Cy-Fair as they take down Katy in overtime 28-21 to face the winner of our next game.
