Houston Waltrip vs Houston Madison- 2023 Week 23 Basketball Highlights

The Madison Marlins took on Waltrip at Butler Fieldhouse Wednesday night. Madison is undefeated in district play and a lot of the credit can go to their stingy defense. On this sequence the Marlins get the steal which leads to a bucket from Anthony Avalos...he scored 18 points. And as we go the other way, Big Nic Golden is playing rim protector as he swats this layup attempt which leads to a layup for Devean (Dev-ee-on) Newton....that's how you win yourself a Defensive Title Belt, folks. Waltrip's Amare Polk had a nice night. Here he drives the lane with the floater high off the glass. 27 points for Polk on the night. Avalos would then start punishing the Butler rims......first he almost brings the whole basket down with this follow dunk. Then he takes the pass for another 2 handed stuff. Madison led 48-27 at the break. 2nd half, it's the big man in the middle, Golden....when you're that size you can have your way in the paint and Nic did that to the tune of 30 points on the night. 4th quarter, Avalos puts the cherry on top with this nasty alley oop jam.
