Houston Memorial Baseball Defeats Cy-Fair 6-2 in District Clash

Cy-Fair entered as the 17-6A leader, but Houston Memorial had other plans. The Mustangs jumped ahead 3-0 in the second inning and held on for a 6-2 victory.

Evan Mauritzen drove in Hunter Edmonds to start the rally, and Matthew Manis doubled in another run. Isaac Robles provided Cy-Fair's only offense with an RBI and a seventh-inning solo homer, but Wyatt Baskin closed the door with a final strikeout.
