Lamar, undefeated on the year, looking to continue their dream season against those Atascocita Eagles
We pick this up in the 3rd quarter, scoreless, and Zion Brown with the pump fake and then unloads a deep ball to Cameron Glenn and he's off to the races for a 90 yard score. Atascocita would lead 7-0.
Next possession, the Eagles liked this scoring thing and the handoff goes to Tory Blalock. He stumbles through the hole and then hits that burst of speed for a 52 yard touchdown. 14-0 Atascocita mid 3rd.
Late 3rd, Lamar would score as Jordan Reaves forces the ball over the goal line and the Texans would only trail 14-7.
Down 21-14 with 2 min to go, Reaves gets flushed out of the pocket....trying to make a play down field but the ball is tipped and picked by Kyran Lee and Lee would get a nice gain down the field. It would also help win the Eagles our defensive title belt this week.
Later in that drive, Brown on the keeper from 8 yards and that's a touchdown. Atascocita would tack on another score to win this 34-14 and advance to the regional finals where they will play the winner of our next game.
