Cy Falls wanted to be the team to slow down Cy Springs magical season!
But early on, the Panthers weren't having any of that talk. Harrison Mass goes deep to Rashod Richardson and when you hit a receiver in stride like that, he can't help but take it to the house. 75 yarder there and Cy Springs would lead 14-0.
Cy Falls would plug away. Kyle Callicoattee with the 4 yard swing pass to Chase Ferrell to make it 14-7, but the Golden Eagles would trail 21-10 at the break.
3rd quarter, Mass with another touchdown pass...this one 10 yards to Paris Melvin and Panthers are up 28-18.
Beginning of the 4th quarter, Trey Morris scores from 3 yards out and Cy Falls is only down 3.
Last chance for the Golden Eagles facing a 4th and 20, but Callicoattee converts by firing a 36 yard strike to Ajani (Uh-johnny) Cargile (Car-gile) and Cy Falls is back in business.
Then with 32 seconds left, Morris scores from the 1 and Cy Falls beats Cy Springs 32-28 and once again we have a logjam atop 16-6A
