A J Bates has been a dominating presence in 19-6A his entire high school career. Bates is the back to back MVP of the district and is the odds on favorite to win it again as a senior. He has already broken the Spartans all time scoring record as he has continually increased his points per game average. This year he averages 24 points a contest. Bates is a true team player and helped lead Seven Lakes to its best season a year ago as they continue their quest for a state tournament appearance this year. A J will be heading to Louisiana Tech next year.
