The name Cromartie carries weight in football circles, but at College Park High School in The Woodlands area, Julian Cromartie has spent this season writing his own chapter. The senior wide receiver — son of former NFL cornerback Antonio Cromartie, who played 11 seasons in the league — arrived from San Diego carrying a recognizable last name. He's leaving as something more: a Parker University MVP and a Clemson commit.
Cromartie is averaging around 25 yards per reception in 2026, a number that reflects his ability to turn short targets into chunk gains and go up and get the deep ball. That kind of production has been central to College Park's rise as a legitimate contender in UIL Class 6A Division II, where the Cavaliers have drawn attention as a program on the move.
The pedigree was always going to be part of the story. Antonio Cromartie was a Pro Bowl cornerback known for his elite athleticism. But Julian plays a different position, in a different era, in a different city — and the résumé he's building at College Park is entirely his own. Clemson saw enough to offer, and he accepted.
