Willis could be a dangerous team in the 6A Division 2 playoffs, but to continue an undefeated season they'd have to beat Oak Ridge First quarter, D J Lagway takes it right up the gut for a 16 yard score. Wildcats up 7-0. Oak Ridge would tie the score at 7 as Larry Dubose powers his way into the end zone for the 3 yard score. 7-7. second quarter, Lagway rolls to his right and throws one up in the air and watch Jalen Mickens go up and get it for the 28 yard score. 21-14 Kats. Sophomore Jermaine Bishop had an incredible night on both sides of the ball for Willis as he picks this pass off and takes it back for a housecall in the 3rd. It's 35-14 Wildcats. 4th quarter, Oak Ridge quarterback Jack Emerson connects with Elijah Ambrosia for the touchdown pass and the War Eagles only trail 42-28. But Lagway, who was fighting through some hamstring issues, still manages to take off for a 46 yard touchdown. Willis wins 49-35 and wins the district championship.
