Ezekiel Ayangbile: Langham Creek's Defensive Force Headed to Miami

Fifty tackles in a single season tells you something about a player. For Langham Creek defensive lineman Ezekiel Ayangbile, that production is just part of the reason the Loboes are being talked about as a legitimate playoff contender — and possibly a district title threat — heading into the fall.

Ayangbile, who goes by Zeke, stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 275 pounds, with the length, hand strength, and footwork that make offensive coordinators reconsider their game plans. He can play inside or outside along the line, gets off the ball quickly, and is the kind of disruptive presence that forces double teams. He recorded 50 tackles in 2025 and 40 in 2024, building a resume that drew attention from programs across the country.

At the Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Ayangbile chose the University of Miami over Virginia Tech — where his father played — and LSU. His father is Dwayne Brown, the former Houston Texans offensive lineman drafted 26th overall in 2008 who went on to earn five Pro Bowl selections. His mother, Sierra, was a track and field thrower at Virginia Tech, where she and Dwayne met.

For Langham Creek, located in the Cypress area of northwest Houston, Ayangbile represents the kind of anchor that can define a defense. The Loboes are counting on him to be that game-changing force as they push for postseason relevance this season.
