Kasen Jammer: Angleton's Duke-Bound Corner Is a Special Teams Nightmare

Football bloodlines run deep for Angleton senior Kasen Jammer. His father, Quentin Jammer, was a standout cornerback at the University of Texas before spending roughly 12 seasons in the NFL with the San Diego Chargers. His uncle, Andre Diggs, played under Manny Diaz — the same Manny Diaz who is now the head coach at Duke University, where Kasen is committed to play at the next level.

Those connections tell part of the story. The film tells the rest. Jammer is an all-state cornerback who doubles as one of the most dangerous return men in the Houston area. Opponents have learned quickly: kick it out of the end zone or pay the price.

Angleton has moved into a new and challenging district alongside Richmond Randle and Iowa Colony, but the Wildcats have shown no signs of a slow start. Through their first three games, they outscored opponents 146-0, a dominant stretch that has Angleton looking like a legitimate contender heading into district play.
