Seven Lakes was a heavy favorite in this one with Cy Creek, but no one told the Cougars that
First quarter, the Spartans Isaiah Santos goes coast to coast through the entire Cougar defense for the basket
2nd quarter, Seven Lakes' Bret Norton with the nice spin in the lane for the layup. He scored 16 but the Spartans trailed by 3.
That's because the Cougars Taurus Baugh had a heck of game. Driving here and scoring in the paint. Cy Creek up 25-21 at halftime.
Second half, more Baugh....steals this pass and takes it the other way...he could've passed to the open man, but why not use the euro step for a bucket of his own. Baugh with 17 points and the Cougars lead 38-34 after 3.
4th quarter, A J Bates with his fresh new haircut, gets into the paint with the one hander. Bates with 16 and Spartans done 1.
Then Norton saves the loose ball right to Tillman Jaramillo for the putback and we are going overtime tied at 50.
In OT, Norton spins off his defender for the deuce. Seven Lakes holds on for the 58-57 win and will face the winner of our next game.
