Thirteen consecutive victories came to an end for Pearland Dawson when crosstown rival Pearland High stormed back with a dominant second-half performance. Anthony Sadler buried early three-pointers to stake Dawson an advantage, but Pearland's 16-4 run after halftime flipped the script entirely.

Devon Brown led all scorers with 20 points, including clutch three-pointers down the stretch that extended Pearland's cushion. Byron Bibbs added a late score to seal the 63-51 final, ending the longest winning streak in the district that season.
