One of the most dangerous defensive backs in 24-6A is Damani Maxson from Clear Lake. The safety is one of the hardest hitters in the area as he compiled 67 tackles, 9 tackles for loss and a sack as a junior. Maxson also was turnover-causing machine as he forced 5 fumbles and recovered one as well. Damani has missed a chunk of the season due to injury, but he’ll be making big hits again next year when he’s at Kansas to play his college ball.
