Not much scoring in the first half as Alief Hastings visited Katy Morton Ranch Thursday night.
However, first quarter, Hastings Reynaldo Valenzuela rolls out of trouble and throws across his body to Jermarion HInes at midfield. Nice move by Hines to turn it into a 37 yard gain and things were looking good for the Bears
But later in the drive, Valenzuela's pass is picked off by Tyree Washington in the red zone, killing the Hastings drive.
2nd quarter, the Mavericks Josh Johnson returns the favor as he steps up and throws and interception to George Cannon. But the Morton Ranch would lead 3-0 at half and go on to win 24-0.
