Fort Bend Marshall will again be a heavy favorite in 5-A and they proved why Thursday night against Aldine Eisenhower.
24 seconds into the game, Buffaloes new quarterback Jacoby Banks flushed out of the pocket and just before he gets to the line of scrimmage he hits Chris Marshall and Marshall does the rest. 57 yard touchdown and Bufs would lead 21-0 after a quarter.
21-7 in the Second quarter when the junior, Banks, shows off his blazing speed. On the keeper watch him get to the sidelines and he just blows past everybody. 75 yards on the touchdown run putting Marshall up 28-7.
Eisenhower continued to fight, however, This is Zaccheus (Zuh-kay-us) Henry tossing one up to Mario Johnson who makes the nice over the shoulder catch and then splits the defenders for a 64 yard touchdown to make it 28-14.
But in a game that would last over 4 hours, Marshall would prevail. Banks to Marshall again for 38 yards. The Buffs take care of business 68-34.
