#4 ranked Atascocita back in North Texas hoping to knock off #5 Denton Guyer this time.
Didn't look good early as Guyer raced to a 14-0 lead. Jackson Arnold goes 45 yards to Sutton Lee and the Eagles were down 2 scores going into the second quarter.
But never fear, Gavin Session is here. And he finds Chase Sowell for a 15 yard score. Atascocita has it tied up at 14 heading to the break.
Second half was back and forth, but Session would give the Eagles their first lead with this 3 yard touchdown run. 20-14.
After Guyer takes the lead back, Atascocita puts in their Wildcat quarterback, Zion Brown, but he fools everyone by throwing it and Kyran Lee is there for the 12 yard score and the 28-27 lead.
Guyer would then reel off 3 straight fourth quarter touchdowns. Arnold to Grayson O'Bara who sprints 50 yards down the sideline for the score. Denton Guyer wins this one 46-35.
