Richmond Randle taking the field under a spectacular sky Thursday night against Huntsville.
The Lions were playing for 2nd place and a home playoff game and freshman running back Landen Williams-Callie knew the assignment. Second quarter, up 14-0, Wiliams-Callie squeezes through the hole and then it was pure speed. 60 yards to the house and Randle is up 21-0.
Under a minute until half, and the Lions at their own 10...just going to run out the clock, right?....WRONG....Williams-Callie has other plans. You know we spoke on the 15 year old phenom last week in the Chevy Spotlight and he proves why all the Power 5 schools are after him this early. That's a 90 yard touchdown. Strike up the band, it's 28-0.
Landen would finish the day with 4 touchdown runs as Randle takes care of Huntsville 35-6 and has a ton of momentum heading into the second season.
