Pearland won the toss so they got a home game at The Rig against Atascocita.
But it was the Eagles who were having fun early. Zion Brown goes 43 yards to the speedster, Jelani Watkins, and Atascocita was rolling 28-7.
Pearland got some special teams help as Ashton Hampton fields the bouncing ball and goes backwards first. But the senior had a plan and it worked out quite well as he gets to the sideline and breaks free for a 56 yard touchdown. Pearland down 28-14.
But still inthe second quarter, Brown goes to Cameron Glenn who makes the sweet catch in the back of the endzone. Atascocita up 41-14 at the half and would hang on to the 61-35 victory. They will face the winner of our next game.
