What a matchup at the Rig, last night as Clear Springs visited Pearland
Chargers quarterback, Cody Kuhlman likes to think of Noah Thomas as his go to guy and he found him early and often Friday night. These two deep passes for touchdowns put Clear Springs up 14-7 and proved why Texas A&M is getting a top notch receiver next year.
Tied at 21 in the first half, Jake Sock rolls to his right but throws back to his left and Nathan Ellies catches it in the end zone to give Pearland a 28-21 lead.
Second half, scored tied at 28, and Christian Pitts takes the hand off and finds his way through a mess of would be tacklers and then he busts loosed for a 64 yard score and the Oilers led 35-28.
4th quarter and Kuhlman goes back to Noah Thomas for his 4th touchdown of the game and the Chargers would advance to face North Shore next week with the 42-35 victory.
