Aldine Nimitz at Spring - Girls 2022 Basketball Highlights

The Spring girls needed a couple wins at the beginning of the week to get at least a share of the district title.

They played Nimitz Monday and the Cougars took a while to get started, but Aifa Miller would get a layup to get Nimitz on the board.

Spring would answer back Rikeyah Gant pops open for 3 and she connects.

Cougars didn't believe Gant could do it again, but she found herself open in the corner for another 3. 24-3 Lions in the 2nd quarter.

Second half, Gant still cookin....she drives the lane for 2 and Spring wins 61-31 and would tie Westfield for district title.
