MVP - Houston Christian Noah Kon

For Houston Christian’s Noah Kon, it really started his sophomore year. Sahvir Wheeler, now at Georgia, missed over half the year with an injury. Kon was thrown into the fire and came out unscathed. He turned a great sophomore year into tremendous junior and senior years that cultimated in Kon becoming Houston Christian’s all time leading score. The Mustangs made the state final last year and were odds on favorites to make it back this year had the pandemic not cancelled the S-P-C Tournament. The speedy guard is still unclear on where he’ll play in college.

Kaleb Stewart - Atascocita - MVP

Kaleb Stewart makes buckets for Atascocita and has done so the last 2 years. Last year he averaged 16 points and was the 22-6A player of the year. This year his numbers went down a bit while he was dealing with a league injury. However, he still helped the Eagles make it to the state semifinals. After transferring in from Crosby as a junior, Stewart has mastered the pull up jumper and can finish at the hoop. Kaleb will be playing at Louisiana Tech next year.
