Chevy Spotlight - Bellville Football
Our Chevy Spotlight shines on Bellville Football. Over the summer they tragically lost the heart and soul of the team, Zach Hood, in a car accident. They have now dedicated their season to their teammate in hopes of keeping his memory alive.

Chevy Spotlight - Fulshear Volleyball
Our Chevy Spotlight shines on Fulshear Volleyball. The Chargers in only their 3rd year of existence won the 4A state title last year. This year they are in 5A and hungry for another one.

Chevy Spotlight - Canon Boone
Dickinson's Canon Boone always dreamed of being coached by his dad, Defensive Line Coach Michael Boone. After being coached by him for a year, Canon was asked to fill a need at offensive line. Despite making a move he wasn't excited about, Canon has flourished on the offensive line and has committed to Virginia Tech. Canon Boone has proven to be a true team player and his willingness to make a sacrifice was what was best for the team.

New Caney Football - Chevy Spotlight
New Caney hired new coach Travis Reeve only to have the pandemic shut down school 2 weeks later. Reeve was tasked with the job of implementing his new offense and defense on zoom calls while trying to build relationships with his new team. The Chevy Spotlight shines on the Eagles who attempt to continue on their upward trend under new Coach Reeve.

The St. Thomas Eagles football team returns 27 seniors with many of them being skilled position players. Lead by senior quarterback, Maddox Kopp, the Eagles look to be a serious TAPPS state title contender. This week's Chevy Spotlight shines on what should be a promising year for St. Thomas football.
