Willis Wildcats Dominate Humble 41-12 to Qualify for 7-on-7 State Tournament
A 41-12 final score tells most of the story, but it was the efficiency of Willis quarterback Parker Stevenson that made this 7-on-7 state qualifying tournament win over Humble look routine. The Wildcats struck early and kept the pressure on throughout, securing a state tournament berth in the process.
Stevenson got Willis on the board first with a back-of-the-endzone strike to Trey Finney, then followed it up with a well-placed scoring pass to Antrell Warren to push the Wildcats' lead well out of reach. The Willis offense moved the ball with consistency, building a commanding advantage before Humble could find any rhythm.
The Huskies did get on the board late, with Darion Jones using a pump fake to create separation before connecting with Deshaun Williams for a score, but the deficit was too steep to overcome. Willis won 41-12 and will advance to the 7-on-7 state tournament later this month.
