Klein Cain holds a slight lead over Klein Oak and Friday night's opponent, Tomball Memorial, at the top of 15-6A End of the first quarter, Cain's Joseph Khalaf (kuh-LAUGH) beats the buzzer with the 3 pointer. Hurricanes up 17-9. Memorial's Chase Meeks would drive to the hole for the bucket...and one...Cain lead was cut to 4. .5 seconds to play in the half and Cain's John Clark gets the tip in off the inbounds. Hurricanes led 35-26 at the break as they sure know how to end quarters with style. The Wildcats came back behind, Luke Reder's 30 points. He's money from behind the arc and Memorial took a 42-41 lead late 3rd. But Klein Cain had the 3rd quarter buzzer to beat...and guess what? Austin Davies did just that with a 3 from the corner....Cain up 46-42 after 3. 4th quarter, Myles Dealy with a 3 pointer for Tomball Memorial to tie the score at 53. 8 seconds to play, Hurricanes down 3....Koy Rondeno (Ron-dino) to tie it up....YES!!!!! and we're going overtime tied at 58. In OT, tied at 60, Dealy drives and scores and is knocked off his feet. Dealy with 21 points and Tomball Memorial wins this one 72-65 in overtime.
