Highlanders playing without start quarterback Mabrey Mettauer who is nursing a head injury but back up Patrick Miller was up for the job. Here he throws the short pass to Jackson Bolender and he went 68 yards for the first score of the game. 7-0 The Woodlands.
2nd quarter, again Miller gets help from others to pad his stats as Quanell X Farrakhan takes the sweep toss and uses his athleticism to weave in and out of traffic for a 60 yard touchdown. Highlanders up big, 21-0.
Great game for Farrakhan. Here he catches the punt through the pouring rain, makes one quick move and then just cranks it up to 5th gear as he scores his 3rd touchdown of the night on this 86 yard return. The Woodlands advance to the second round with a 35-0 victory.
