The Village School Vikings captured their second TAPPS 6A girls basketball state championship with a convincing 70-56 victory over Plano Prestonwood. Despite falling behind early after a 14-1 run by Prestonwood, the Vikings rallied back behind a stellar performance from Candice Tsang, who finished with 27 points. Nyla Singleton contributed key three-pointers, and Oluwatoni Ademuwagun provided a spark on defense to help turn the tide. The Village School took a four-point lead into halftime and pulled away in the second half to secure the title.
