Argyle Defeats Barbers Hill in 5A Division 2 State Championship

First state final appearance since 1997 ended in heartbreak. Barbers Hill fell to Argyle 51-42 in the 5A-D2 championship despite Brooklynn Roberson's game-high 16 points.

Jayci Lackey's three-pointer and contributions from Mady Dumphy and Autumn Lecompte kept the Eagles close at halftime. Argyle pulled away with a strong third-quarter run capped by Wrigley Green's highlight finish.
