Spring Westfield and Klein Cain met at Tomball ISD Stadium
And we got to start with this kickoff return by Westfield's Austin Abram. There is no way to describe it, but utterly ridiculous. Abram shakes and bakes....shimmys and jukes...whatever verbs you want to use to avoid being tackled and then goes 84 yards to the house. Westfield would still trail 7-6
But Cain would prove to be a worthy opponent. Darius Rodgers has no choice to go through that huge hole and after getting a push from a defender, Rodgers scampers 60 yards to the house. Hurricanes would lead 34-14.
However a 20 point lead would not be enough. Taji Atkins would score on this 23 yard touchdown run in the 3rd, cutting the Cain lead to 34-32.
Then Ashton Stean scores on this short quarterback keeper and Spring Westfield completes the comeback to win it 55-41 to advance to the 3rd round
