Four games into the season, the Ridge Point Panthers have yet to lose — and Friday's homecoming matchup against Strake Jesuit at Hall Stadium did nothing to change that.
Quarterback Brody Bartee was sharp from the opening drive, connecting with Suhaib Ramseur on the Panthers' first two touchdown passes of the night. The Bartee-to-Ramseur combination accounted for 166 yards, giving Ridge Point an early stranglehold on the game in front of a charged homecoming crowd.
Bartee kept the momentum going with a 33-yard touchdown strike to John Rangel, pushing the lead to 28-6 at halftime. He capped the night with a 24-yard scoring pass to Lawrence Neal, finishing with 272 yards and four touchdown passes through the air.
The final score of 38-6 sends Ridge Point to 4-0 on the season, while Strake Jesuit remains winless. The Panthers are building a strong case as one of the area's teams to watch as district play approaches.
