Dickinson and Pearland played in epic playoff game that seemingly wouldn't end.
Only scoring in the first half came when Dickinson's Lorenzo Aguirre goes 23 yards to Mason Peterson and the Gators led 6-0 at the half.
3rd quarter, Pearland would get on the board. LaDamion McDowell finds the hole and takes a 57 yard jaunt to the end zone putting Pearland up 7-6.
But with 3 minutes left in the game, Aguirre takes it in from the 2 to put the Gators up 14-7 and feeling pretty good about their chances.
But hang on...after converting a 4th and 10, the Oilers would tie it up with 1:24 left to play as Cole Morokovsky finds Patrick Bridges on a 33 yard touchdown and we're heading to over time tied at 14.
And not only 1 overtime...but 5 overtimes!!!!! In the 5th overtime, still 14 all, both teams are only doing 2 point conversions, and Morokovsky hits Bridges to put the Oilers up 2.
Dickinson's turn, but Peterson gets stomped short of the goal line. what a game!!!! Pearland wins it in 5 overtimes, 16-14 to advance to face Atascocita.
