A win from either Katy Tompkins or Katy Jordan would clinch a playoff spot as the 2 battled it out Thursday night.
Second quarter, down 21-7, Jordan's Zechariah Sample would make a play for the Warriors on the ensuing kickoff as he finds the hole and then spins out of a tackle which would spring him to the sidelines and he's out of here...95 yards on this return which brought the Warriors to within one score, 21-14.
With the game tied at 21, Tompkins would get the last score of the half as Wyatt Young connects Adebisi (Ed-uh-BEE-SEE) Bello for a 20 yard pitch and catch. Falcons hold a 28-21 halftime lead.
3rd quarter, Young a little shaken up so back up Justin Thierheimer heaves one up off his back foot and Rhys (reese) Phillips brings it down for a touchdown to make it 35-24 Falcons.
Story on the game was Wyatt Young, though. The senior ran for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns including this 35 yard keeper in the 4th. Tompkins is playoff bound with the 49-24 win. Jordan needs a win next week to make it.
