Darren Simpson Scores 6 TDs as Cy Falls Dominates Langham Creek 45-7
Six touchdowns. One running back. One dominant Saturday morning in District 16-6A.
Cy Falls running back Darren Simpson delivered a career-best performance against Langham Creek, scoring six touchdowns in a 45-7 Eagles victory. Simpson got things started early, taking a wildcat snap five yards into the end zone to give Cy Falls the lead, and he never let up from there.
Langham Creek briefly answered when quarterback Chase Williams found receiver Palmer for a touchdown to tie the game at seven, but the Eagles quickly reasserted control. Simpson added a 19-yard scoring run in the second quarter as part of a 24-7 halftime advantage that effectively put the game away.
The second half was more of the same. Simpson continued to find the end zone, finishing with his six-score day as Cy Falls cruised to the 38-point win. The result moves the Eagles to even in 16-6A district play, a classification that features some of the most competitive programs in the northwest Houston area.
