Cy Ranch Hands Fulshear a Loss in 23-6A Title Race | 24-7

Three of the last four District 23-6A titles belong to Fulshear. Cy Ranch made a strong statement that the fifth won't come easy.

The Mustangs controlled the game from the opening drive, with quarterback Braden Baker finding Derrick McCullar II across the middle for a 32-yard touchdown to go up 7-0. Fulshear answered before the end of the first quarter when Jaelyn Collins punched it in from two yards out to tie the game at 7-7.

The pivotal moment came just before halftime. A mishandled snap on a Fulshear punt gave Cy Ranch the ball at the 46-yard line, and Khristian White made them pay, taking it to the edge for a touchdown to put the Mustangs up 14-7 at the break.

Cy Ranch didn't ease off in the second half. Baker went back to McCullar for a 26-yard score, pushing the lead to 21-7. The defense matched the offense's output — Cameron Bledsoe recorded a sack on fourth down, and Antonio Murray sealed the win with an interception late in the fourth quarter.

Cy Ranch wins 24-7, staying firmly in the hunt for the 23-6A title.
