Cy Falls at Cy Creek - 2023 Week 19 Basketball Highlights

Afternoon non district matchup at Cy Creek as the Cougars hosted 21st ranked Cy Falls. First quarter, the Eagles break the Cy Creek press which means someone has a straight line to the hoop. That someone is Brayden Young with the big slam. Later first, Julius Grear pops open at the top of the key and that's a good look at a 3 that Great wasn't going to miss. 2nd quarter, Javori Washington with the slight of hand dish to Young for another monster dunk....23-15 Eagles. Cy Creek's Taurus Baugh decides to challenge Young underneath. Misses the first one, but puts in the rebound and the foul. Cougars trying for more, but Daylon Porter gets the steal to help earn Cy Falls the defensive title belt and then Washington with the layup on the other end. 27-20 Eagles at the break. 3rd quarter, Cy Falls opens up a 10 point lead when Grear spins and lays in 2 of his game high 19 points. Cougars were led by Baugh's 15 as he again challenges Young and throws it up and in over the big man. But this game belonged to Cy Falls.
