About Richmond George Ranch
George Ranch High School opened in Richmond in 2010 and plays at Guy K. Traylor Stadium. The Longhorns won the Class 5A Division I state championship in 2015, finishing 16-0 with a 56-0 shutout of Mansfield Lake Ridge at NRG Stadium. Running back Darius Anderson, who rushed for 246 yards in the semifinal win over Vista Ridge, went on to play in the NFL.
