About Fort Bend Kempner
Fort Bend Kempner opened in 1988 as the fourth high school in Fort Bend ISD, built on 55 acres of pecan trees in Sugar Land. The school graduated its first senior class in 1990 and has produced multiple Olympic medalists, including Steven López, a two-time taekwondo gold medalist. Kempner competes in District 11 of Texas 5A Division II and plays home games at Kempner Stadium.
