Yates Lady Lions vs. Wheatley Lady Cougars - 2013 Basketball - Week 2

The Yates boys get so much of the pub, but the Yates girls are having a good year in their own right. Yates Amari Albrow gets off to a hot start, having her way from the side for a couple of 3 pointers giving the Lady Lions a 9 point lead with under a minute to play in the 1st. Albrow shows no signs of cooling off in the 2nd burying the 3 pointer she would finish with 15 points for the game. Wheatley hangs tough, Essence Johnson with the downcourt pass to Shaudraya Oliver for the layup. Then it's Billie Newell with the rebound on one end and on the move goes coast to coast for the lay up, Newell paced Kashmere with 14 points, but they were still down 7. Kashmere leaves Elisha Ray unguarded and Ray makes them pay. Nothing but net on the three pointer, Ray led everyone with 16 points on the night. Jessica Allen with the steal, then gets it to fall on the other end Allen pumped in 15 in a convincing win for Yates 72-34 is the final from Delmar.
