But Westside pulls back into it late in the 2nd, Sentreal Gregory and shows why she’s one of the top juniors in the area, she cans back to back threes from the same spot to tie things at 23. Westside jumps out to the lead in the 3rd behind Texas A&M Corpus Christi commit Maddisen Turner who was strong down low. Westside kept pouring it on, Gregory with another trey in the 3rd, she led the way for Westside with 22 points. Cy Fair only had 2 points through the first 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter, Ny’Asia Goldman with the steal and bucket on the other end which was the final dagger in a 16-2 Westside run. The Wolves never look back, 61-48 is the final, Westside moves to regional quarterfinals for the first time since 2010.
