Westfield Mustangs vs. Skyline Raiders - 2013 Football - 5A Divsion I Region II Semifinal

July 21, 2018
Westfield and Dallas Skyline met in the other 5A Division I Region 2 semi, in a rematch from last year, the same location as well and it would be a wild one in Georgetown. First quarter action sees Courtland Greenwood go over the middle to Donovan Thompson for the touchdown to give Westfield a 20-6 lead , but Skyline answered as Savon Rollinson takes the screen from Sederian Copeland and sheds the Mustangs tacklers for a 64 yard touchdown cutting the lead to 20-13 after 1. William Dedon hooks up with Lewis in the endzone and Westfield took a 34-20 lead into the break. Skyline chipped away at the lead and in the 4th Copeland finds Emmanuel Harris for the touchdown to tie the game at 41 with just over 4 minutes to play and that was the score at the end of regulation. After Skyline scored first, Greenwood hits Trevian Perrino for a diving touchdown to send it to double OT. Greenwood from the 5 can't find an open man so he makes a break for it, and gets the ball over the goal line as Derick Dixon made the hit. The ref didn't like it so Skyline has to start at the 40 after the unsportsman like conduct penalty. After a chop block penalty Skyline is at their own 40 and Westfield puts an end to things with the sack and the 55-48 double overtime victory.
