Westbury Rebels vs. Kinkaid Falcons - 2013 Basketball - Week 4

Westbury Christian and Kinkaid got together for the Garrett game. All the proceeds went to the family of Levy Garrett who was a coach for Kinkaid, and whose son played for Westbury Christian. It's hard to put into words, on a night like this when you get to see the legacy he left, when you get to see the former players coming back when you get to see the two schools he was involved in, and how much support we're both trying to give the family. I think that gives you an idea of the type of person he was, he left a wonderful legacy as an educator as a coach, and there's a lot of people that care deeply about not only him but the family, and tonight's a shining example of that. As for the game itself Kinkaid's Larry Wilkins with the three. Westbury Christian answers, Kyle Guidry with the three. Jeff Robinson, drives for 2, Kinkaid up by 6 at the break 39-33. 2nd half, Charles Simmons drives and lays it in. Then Simmons drives again for two and Westbury Christian led 41-39. Kinkaid's Larry Wilkins hits the three and Kinkaid is back on top. Then Wilkins with the hanging jumper it goes in Wilkins with 26. Then Jeff Robinson will get the tip in, Kinkaid wins it 65-54.
