Kempner and Austin ending the regular season at Mercer Stadium, Austin needs a win and some help for the postseason Bulldogs on their first drive with a heavy dose of Orryn Nicholson on the ground to move the ball near midfield But then Jackson Steele airs it out for Lorenzo Martinez for a 50 yard touchdown, as Austin takes a 7-0 lead After a great punt downed inside the 1, the Bulldogs then put 2 more points on the board as they blow through for the safety, 9-0 Austin in front The Bulldogs would get great field position after the kick, but on their first play Austin would fumble the ball away and Kempner recovers to kill that Bulldogs drive Second half Bulldogs backed up on their own five yard line, but Orryn Nicholson flips the field position with this great run. Nicholson taking off for a 79 yard run all the way down to the Kempner 16 yard line A couple plays later Jackson Steele connects with Connor Adams in the back of the endzone for the touchdown 16-0 Bulldogs on top and they go on to win it 23-6 over the Cougars.
