The Spring Lions are 5-0 and have climbed up the state rankings to 18 in the 6-A poll. Alot of that can be attributed to the stand out play of junior wide receiver, Travis Sims Jr. This year he has 35 catches for 386 yards and averages 11 yards per reception. In their biggest win of the year, Sims caught 3 touchdown passes including this Hail Mary as time ran out to win the game. Sims and junior quarterback Bishop Davenport have become one of the deadliest pass combos in the area.
