Let’s head over to Klein now, where the Bearkats host The Woodlands…
In the first, Klein’s David Peak grabs it underneath the hoop and goes up for the deuce, Bearkats up 4 after one.
In the 2nd, the Highlanders’ Tyler Hveem(Veem) launches the long three from well beyond the arc and he drains it.
Klein’s Aaron Gonzales answers with an even longer three, he nails it from way out there, Klein leads by 2 at halftime.
Bearkats look to run in the third, Aaron Hutchinson feeds Mason Tharp for the nice bucket in transition.
Later, it’s Tharp using his size on the block, he goes up and finishes with the left hand for two.
Highlanders hanging around though, Hveem lets it fly from the top of the key for three more.
The Woodlands can’t contain Tharp in the paint however. The big man goes up to tip in his own miss for Klein.
More Bearkats, this time’s it’s Hutchinson with the nice feed to Gonzales who gets to the hole for two and Klein pulls away for a 46-38 win over The Woodlands.
