Jon Kay's North Shore Mustangs hadn't played the Woodlands since 2007, but the two faced off Thursday night.
Highlanders down 7-0 when Mabry Mettauer goes deep to Shane Walker which would set up a one yard plunge. 7-7 is the score.
After that, North Shore did what they do. Dominate. Kaleb Bailey hits Christopher Barnes with the short pass and "goodbye my friend...don't forget to write". That's a 65 yard score to put the Mustangs up 14-7.
Then Mettauer tries to get things going, but there's Arkansas commit, Jacoby Davis there to step in front of this pass and Davis is taking this one back for a 53 yard house call which help earn the Mustangs our Defensive Title Belt this week.
So we've shown you an offensive and a defensive touchdown...what are we missing??? Oh yeah....special teams. Here you go. Evan Jackson fields the punt at the 16 and after a few moves it's just pure speed. 84 yard return for 6. North Shore led 42-7 at the half and won it 49-21.
