Texas City Stingarees vs. Friendswood Mustangs - 2013 Football - Week 6

The two teams were locked in a battle as we pick up the action with Friendswood trailing 24-17 in the 3rd the Friendswood defense steps up on the goal line forcing a Stings fumble and Blake King goes 94 yards the other way to knot the score at 24-all. But Texas City would bounce back. On the next series D'Onta Foreman busts a 56 yard run. That sets up Forman to finish it off a 5-yard run puts Texas City back on top 31-24. Later in the half more from the UT commit, this time it's 34 hard-earned yards on the ground another Foreman TD run makes it 38-24 Stings. But the Mustangs battle back. Brandon Sargent hooks up with Sam Longbotham for 33 yards and the TD on 4th and 8. Friendswood goes for 2 and the lead, Sargent goes to the air intended for Walker Williams, but Armanti Foreman denies the Mustangs. Late in the 4th, Texas City would add some breathing room as Donald Lynch goes 33 yards to score and Texas City wins 45-37.
