Texas City on the road at Barbers Hill, the Stingarees needing a win to get into the playoffs
2nd quarter Barbers Hill with a little trickeration. Brent Holdren with some nifty fakes and the touchdown pass to Jalen Eugene, the Eagles taking a commanding 21-3 lead.
Before half though, Texas City would score. Caleb Bell goes 13 yards for the touchdown but the Stingarees would trail 27-10 at the half.
In the 2nd half, more imaginative play-calling as they dial up the end around - Andrew Galvan taking the handoff and finding a soft edge races in to help propel Barbers Hill to a convincing 51-24 win and that ends Texas City's season.
