Summer Creek High School Football - Chevy Spotlight
July 21, 2018
They didn't wait to be great Just in those short 5 years we've proved to everybody that Summer Creek is here and we're ready to fight for anything. It's just unexpected because we've met expectations and we surpassed them in such a short amount of time and now we have more to live up to. 3 district championships in their first 4 seasons. The Bulldogs were undefeated during the regular season a year ago and had high hopes, only to lose in the 2nd round. We see what it takes now to keep climbing every single week and keep getting better every single week, and everbody has been doing that pretty well and there's been a lot of fire in every practice. I think the one thing we have to be careful of is that we're just gonna roll through to the championship game, that stuff has to be earned. After a long stay at North Shore as an assistant under David Aymond, Coach Ford has been able to bring a similar style to Summer Creek. He's also fortunate to have 4 four year lettermen including Aaron Sharp who is the defending 200 meter state track champ and one of the top dual threat quarterbacks in the country. It's an honor to play for Aaron to be one of his linemen, to protect him. Team Chant 123 defense Team Chant 123 offense Overall he's great, he is a great quarterback, but this is all a team effort. The Summer Creek Bulldogs Football Team, this week's Chevy Spotlight.
